Check with the BBB (Better Business Bureau) b/c there are MANY security company scams out there that will rob you blind.

Nearly 2 years ago in Missouri I had someone try to break into my apartment. It was at night and the I had the lights off, but I wasn’t yet asleep. I heard a noise at the back door. I ran into the living room and switched on the outside lights. It scared the burgler and I saw him run off. . I then called several alarm companies in my area and they all gave installation and monitoring quotes. I recommend you call a local burglar alarm system installer to get your questions answered.
